The Pennsylvania Railroad\’s class F30A flatcars was one of their most prolific classes of flatcars with 1500 being built between 1933 and 1934. The PRR utilized a massive one-piece steel casting for these F30 flatcars, and that sturdy construction meant that many of these cars lasted an incredibly long time, often with a second life in work train (MOW) service.

Wheel Transport Flatcars:

New in this release are wheel transport flats with loads. Wheel cars usually travel in mixed manifests to transport wheels from shop to shop as needed. Our wheel flat features deck mounted wheel racks with a pre-decorated wheel load.
